Publish- I went to the Methane Fire Pit
Process- I was fascinated about hearing that the flame lasted for years.
So I asked my seniors more about it. The methane is from the fossil fuels buried below the ground .
Generalising - There are places were natural gases gets leaked. We can make use of it.
Apply- I am still curious if the temperature will change over time. Moreover, since air pollution is increasing will it affect the lifespan of the flame?

Publish- Doing experiment
Process- It was fun to work together with friends and learn the symbiosis relationship even though there was a language barrier since the lecture was conducted in chinese.
Generalise- I learnt that even though it may be confusing sometimes we should not hesitate to ask our doubts. We must always be curious and not have an hurdle block the way
Application- Whenever I go, I will not be afraid to ask questions and I will full understand what I am doing.

Publish- Creating a graph using ImageJ of a chromatography
Process- When I was creating the graph by my own I struggled for a while and still managed to create a graph. However, I was not sure what the axis represented. Then, Mr Tan came and questioned my group on what the graph represented and why was the graph had sudden peaks. To find an answer, I searched up the document that was previously sent to us to find out the solutions that was in the TLC. I felt more satisfied after knowing what was everything about.
Generalise- I should always fully understand what I am doing and I should question myself for better understanding. I should think critically to get a full understand.
Application- I will now question myself to understand the topic further. I will understand the purpose of the experiment first.

Publish: 3D Modelling lesson using AgiSoft
Process: It was fun to learn how to construct a 3D model of the coral. I was fascinated upon knowing that 3D Modelling could be used in a variety of areas from biomedical engineering to measurement of corals. For example, the 3D models could be used in the future to compare the changes in bleaching corals.
Generalise: I learnt that everything that we learn could be useful in the future since we could apply it in a lot of aspects.
Apply: I want to explore in this 3D Model and learn about it

Publish: Searching for anemone using the microscope which we were not able to do
Process: We were not able to get the anemone out of the petri dish first. We were disappointed that we could see the results since we needed that data for our research project. My group members and I gave up on it and started to get other samples form the other groups. However, with the help of the lab assistant, we were able to find the anemone and the algae(symbiodinium inside it).
Generalise: As the saying goes, it the is the journey that matters not the destination we learnt that patience and determination is the most important in doing the research and not it is not about winning or losing.
Apply: With the attitude, we can do other projects with determination even if we face any hurdles.

Publish: This is picture of the ROV
Process: I was fascinated on how many systems were there in the ROV and the conditions that we need to take note of to make a sustainable product even though there will be flaws in and there such as the rust in the product.
Generalise: There maybe problems in our product and we must oversee it and solve it to make a good and working product that has a benefit
Application: During the presentation, the seniors asked us questions and we tried our best to answer it even though we did not have an answer to all of it. However, my teammates and I appreciate it and we have recorded all the problems to solve it. The problems are really helpful since now we are exposed to it and he have a chance to solve the problems.
